- Larry was in charge of Operational Consulting Training at Gibson & Associates, Inc. for nine years. At Gibson, managing a team of instructional designers and line consultants, Larry developed a standalone training practice with clients that generated annual revenues exceeding $1 million.
Professional background
Larry started his career as a high school teacher in the British school system, teaching social studies, and business related courses. He taught for several years in England, Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.
Larry started training consultants at Arthur Andersen where he led the initial development of training for the Operational Consulting Practice. Focusing on skills and process training, over nine years, he successfully managed the creation of the practice’s worldwide curriculum. Additionally, he was involved in a variety of projects important to the business success of the practice, including cross-functional cost analysis, project management, process mapping, purchasing, and transportation consulting methodologies, supporting a practice that grew twentyfold in nine years. Larry was instrumental in forming relationships with faculties at leading business schools to develop and instruct courses in strategy, manufacturing, marketing, and change management.
