YOUR CAREER. YOUR FUTURE. YOUR PACE.
There is nothing “typical” about a career at Gibson. That being said, we are often asked by our associates what the usual career trajectory is within our firm. That’s not easy to answer because each of our consultants bring to the table their own unique set of skills, personalities and aspirations. Some choose to advance as quickly as they can prove themselves, and some are happy serving our clients in a role they have mastered and are comfortable with. Either path is fine with us.
At Gibson, you control your future and the pace at which you advance. When you are ready, the opportunity is there. We do not believe a title or level of responsibility is dictated by age, tenure or a fancy degree. We believe in hard work and results. When you focus on those two things for our clients and our firm, you may advance as fast or slowly as you would like.
We do however recognize the fact that people do like to see where their career could potentially go and occasionally like to measure their goals against time. Below is a snapshot of the average timeframe associated with each of the roles within our company. Perhaps you will redefine the path to Partner?
