              The purpose of this course is to help participants become effective presenters. This involves practicing presentations in a safe, non-threatening environment. The course is presented in lectures and instructor-led discussions; the primary learning focus is on individual and small-group exercises and videotaped practice sessions. The presentation activities and critique from peers and instructors are the keys to the success of the course.


              Anyone who presents, whether formal or informal, to large or small groups, one-on-one, internally or externally, will benefit from this class.


              This is a good course to support organizational change/development processes or promotion of a group of individuals to management level.


              After completing this course, participants will be able to:

              • Determine the purpose of a presentation
              • Overcome physical and verbal distractions in a presentation
              • Organize a presentation using the Listener Vantage Model
              • Deliver a presentation using visual aids
              • Respond to audience questions and objections professionally
              • Use the most appropriate techniques for overcoming anxiety

              This course may be customized and extended or coaching sessions added to prepare participants for presentations that are to be given soon. The course is often included in the strategic sourcing curriculum to help "sell" the potential alliance to suppliers at supplier
